The third molar or the commonly called WISDOM TOOTH usually erupts by the ages 16 or 17. Sometimes it fails to come out because of lack of space. It tilts to one side and usually pushes the adjacent tooth damaging it. If not surgically removed , It will cause a severe pain later, and worse , infection develops . Removal of this impacted tooth is the treatment of choice.

A PANORAMIC XRAY is , therefore, recommended for teenagers before 16 as a routine procedure during their regular check-up to detect this problem early.

Xray shows the third molar is removed.
Redor Dental Center has this facility to detect the wisdom tooth.
Dr. Martin Luis S. Redor, trained at PGH Dental Department, will handle the surgery.
