when is it necessary?

We cannot expect  very young kids to behave like adults in the dental chair!

KIds may need extra help to go through the  dental procedures. They may be given some medications to make them relaxed, more behaved, and  minimize stress,  and avoid a very  sad experience😮

The sedated child may become grozzy and sleep.

Because of this, treatment may be possible. And dental problems could be addressed with much ease as well for the dentist!🙂

But, of course, not all dental visits need sedation. Simple treatment procedures like cleaning and fluoride should be the most pleasant experience for them. They even look forward to this because it is tooth-tickle time. Not to forget their claim for a baloon after a behaved time in the dental chair!
