DRS. RAYMUND , MYLENE and MARTIN REDOR
DR. RAYMUND V. REDOR, is a graduate of Dentistry at CEU , Mendiola, Manila in Oct 1986, landed in 6th place at the Dec 1986 national dental board exams.
He was Clinical instructor at his Alma Mater for 1 year.
HE took Orthodontic preceptorships under Drs. Khuan Fatt Loh and Dr. Marlon Moldez, both with PhDs in Orthodontics.
He belongs to the first 11 locally-trained Dentists in the field of Pediatric Dentistry at the Pediatric Dentistry Division, Philippine Children's Medical Center, ETP 2, 1992.
He has been a full-time practitioner in Pediatric Dentistry since 1996, and member of the Philippine
Pediatric Dentistry Society, Inc.
He is the Chief Finance Officer of LA SAPIENZA LEARNING CENTER, Inc.
DR. MYLENE S. REDOR is also graduate of CEU,College of Dentistry, in October 1986 and passed the dental board that same year . She was Faculty Member at her alma mater for 2 years.
She has attended preceptorships in Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, and Temporo-Mandibular disorder management, under Drs. Ricci Nadela, Austin Ang, and Lolita Fandialan, respectively. A member of CRED
She is PAST PRESIDENT of Quezon Province Dental Chapter.
She is currently President of the Phil Chamber of Commerce, QUEZON (PCCI-QPI) for the year 2022-2023
(At the moment, she is on leave as Dentist to dedicate her time at Lasalec School and perform her duty as President of PCCI-QPI)
She is also holder of a master's degree in education management . A LET passer.
She is the Board Chairman, President, CEO, and School Director of LA SAPIENZA LEARNING CENTER(LASALEC) for Preschoolers and Grade school level students- Grades 1and 2 this school year 2022-2023, located at our campus at Gulang-Gulang , Lucena City. This school year , due to improving conditions on the pandemic, a hybrid class will be conducted.
DR. MARTIN LUIS S. REDOR , the eldest son. He is a UE College of Dentistry graduate in October 2014; passed the Dental Board in January 2015; finished HOSPITAL DENTISTRY and ORAL SURGERY at Philippine General Hospital Dental Department in December 2015; He was Chief Extern in Pediatric Dentistry at Philippine Children' s Medical Center in 2016.
He studied and finished his master's degree in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Mahidol University , Bangkok, Thailand , from 2017-2020.
He is currently Dentistry faculty member of his Alma Mater.
Drs. Raymund and Mylene have 2 other children:
MIGUEL LUIS S. REDOR is a graduate of Management Economics at Ateneo de Manila , and finished Law , second honor, at Ateneo Manila Law School,
in July 2022.
MARIELLE THERESE S. REDOR is former Governor of the student body for school year 2016-2017, Sacred Heart College, Lucena City. She went to France for a One-year Rotary student program in 2017-2018. She is currently a 3rd year Dentistry student at the University of the East for the school year 2022-2023. -

In 1987, his Mom, Chelo, gave him back his birthday and christmas gifts he has received since he was a little boy, and which she had saved and invested in his behalf. During those times, a time deposit would double in 5 years!
Dr Redor bought their first second-hand Dental Xray using this money.
The diagnostic facility has since grown and after 25 years, it has upgraded to its current capacity.
The center's new acquisition, Vatech'S PAX-I is proof of this commitment to the service of
their dental patients.
This machine is state of the art. Only a few so far has this model in the country.
The centre invests in a technology that it thinks will be beneficial for the patients.
A big expenditure and gamble but, when patients' safety and
accurate diagnosis are considered, the centre believes it is worth the investment.
With the digital age, X-ray results can now be sent via e-mail right away anywhere in the world . It reduces the risk of damage and loss like that of conventional X-ray plates which may be misplaced. Also X-ray details are unimaginably clearer.
The centre now also offers other parameters Orthodontics requires. Aside from the Digital Panoramic and Cephalometric X-rays, they take pre- treatment extra and intra-oral photographs; diagnostic upper and lower model casts are also fabricated for ortho patients.
These services are shared to other Dentists for their own patients, who may want to avail of this quality work, as part of the service we provide for our colleagues.
With these diagnostic tools readily available at the centre, diagnosis is right away established! Delicate procedures like surgery and other related fields are now easier performed without the patient going out to have them performed outside. Treatment is smooth sailing! Thus, complicated removal of impacted third molars are easier located and managed.

INTRODUCTION TO DENTISTRY STARTS EARLY, EVEN BEFORE PRE-SCHOOL YEARS.
REDOR DENTAL CENTER is known as a PIONEER in treatment of KIDS outside Metro Manila!
Once kids enter our center,
we commit ourselves in making a connection to the children entrusted to us. When properly motivated, children become ACTIVE partners in the prevention of dental diseases.
Everyday we focus our attention in teaching kids to love good oral health.
Parents are advised to bring their child at age 6mo to 1 year old, or as soon as the first tooth erupts.The time is spent giving important pointers to maintain a tooth decay-free child.
Recare program entails that children enrolled at the centre is followed-up regularly for their check-up and fluoride treatment.
Preventive-Interceptive approach kind of treatment service is, in principle, the thrust of the centre.
The centre is equipped to treat children with special needs , and the very young who are uncooperative and restless, and who may need special treatment procedures like sedation and general anaesthesia.
Sedation is a behaviour management technique to alleviate anxiety and fear of children during treatment. They are given special medication to modify their behaviour and help the dentist to do their work with quality as well.
General anaesthesia is confined for very special procedures for the medically compromised , the very young, and children with special needs, when necessary.
Meantime, Toddlers and even younger on their first visit would definitely feel threatened. They usually cry. The whole environment is new. This is a chance to introduce them to a new experience. Usually , but not always, after the mouth examination they settle and become quiet.
From here, we will be able to assess the child's mouth condition and give parents our evaluation report and proposed treatment plan.
But they receive a "prize"for a brave behaviour after; We give them a toy dog balloon!

About braces for pregnant women: Yes, it is absolutely safe. What may not be safe is taking X-rays. This is required prior to orthodontic work. Meantime I advise that you enjoy your pregnancy first!
